This set of readers builds naturally and logically from the Spanish Conciencia fonémica/Phonemic Awareness Readers (LER 3435). The focus in this second-level set of readers is on reading more difficult open syllables and words with ch, x, v and other challenging sounds; reading closed syllables (cal, tin, bot); using the variant sounds of c, g, and x; and reading words with accents, consonant clusters, diphthongs and more.
